The popular Amici Ensemble's innovative programmes never cease to delight. This time Donald Armstong (violin), Vyvyan Yendall (viola), Allan Chisholm (cello), Mary Scott (clarinet) and Emma Sayers (piano) will be joined by two more NZSO principle players, Preman Tilson (bassoon) and Michael Kirgan (trumpet). This exciting combination of instruments will feature in two light-hearted, jazzy pieces - Martinu's Suite de Cuisine and David Snow's A Bakers Tale. Adding a romantic contrast will be Schubert's Notturno for piano trio and Dvorak's Piano Quartet.
