IRONS ARMSTRONG GREEN
TRIO

Violinist Donald Armstrong returns in a newly-formed trio with popular pianist Diedre Irons and NZSO principal clarinettist Philip Green. They will play two of the most entertaining trios for this combination - Bartok's Contrasts and Khachaturian's Trio in G minor. Three other works will display each individual performer's talents: Violin Sonata in C minor by Beethoven, Fantasy on Carmen for clarinet by Rosenblatt and Gershwin's own solo piano version of Rhapsody in Blue.
