The early music ensemble IL Raccolto was founded in 2002 by Canterbury University lecturers Edith Salzmann (baroque cello), Jonathan Lecocq (theorbo) and Wolfgang Kraemer (recorder). For this tour they will be joined by baroque violinst Shelley Wilkinson. Their programme includes a fascinating mix of early delights in the first half, while the second part of the concert features the more familiar sounds of Telemann and Vivaldi.
